Uranium Power Corp. Signs Contract With Fugro for TEMPEST Airborne EM Survey on South Fork Project, Southern Saskatchewan

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Sept. 12, 2007) - Uranium Power Corp. ("Uranium Power" "UPC") (TSX VENTURE:UPC) has signed a contract with Fugro Airborne Surveys to complete an airborne electromagnetic and magnetometer survey of its South Fork JV using the TEMPEST system. The contract calls for a total of 3307 line kilometers to be flown, and is scheduled to commence by the end of September 2007.

The South Fork project is a joint venture with JNR Resources ("JNR") (TSX VENTURE:JNN), with UPC having the right to earn up to a 65% interest in the project. UPC is the operator.

The project is located in the east Cypress Hills area of southwestern Saskatchewan, where the target is Eocene age paleochannels which have significant similarities to the Powder River basin uranium district in Wyoming. The TEMPEST system has been demonstrated to be effective in mapping such channels.

Chris M. Healey, P.Geo, President - UPC, is the qualified person responsible for the technical content in this release.

The results of this survey, compiled with old drill data from the late 1970s and early 1980s, will be used to design an extensive drill program planned for spring 2008.

Chris Healey, President, UPC commented, "With the positive indications for roll front uranium potential demonstrated by earlier work on the property, I am pleased that we can now initiate exploration using modern techniques. I anticipate that this survey will substantially enhance our ability to effectively plan a drill program for spring 2008."
