Urbana Corporation Purchases Shares in Bolsa de Mercadorias & Futuros-BM&F S.A.

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Nov. 30, 2007) - Urbana Corporation ("Urbana") (TSX:URB.A) is pleased to announce that it has purchased 300,000 shares in the initial public offering ("IPO") of Bolsa de Mercadorias & Futuros - BM&F S.A. ("BM&F"), one of the world's largest futures exchanges and the largest in Latin America. Based in Sao Paulo, Brazil, the BM&F came into existence in 1991 through the merger of the Mercantile & Futures Exchange (founded in 1985) and the Sao Paulo Commodities Exchange (founded in 1917). Prior to its IPO, BM&F had been a privately held entity.

The total cost of this purchase is approximately US$3,400,000.

Urbana is an investment corporation that is listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Urbana's current focus is buying memberships in private and public securities exchanges in North America and around the world.
