US BioTec Announces "Energy Subsidiary Activities"

GLEASON, TN -- (MARKET WIRE) -- October 25, 2006 -- US BioTec, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: USBO), an emerging player in the rapidly growing bio-chemical sector of the annual multi-billion dollar industries related to agriculture, lawn and garden, and golf course products, today announced that it has created "US BioTec Energy Services Corp" which will operate as a subsidiary to handle business related to energy transactions.

"USBO has entered into negotiations with a Chicago-based company in order to secure sales contracts for the purchase and resale of ethanol and bio-diesel specifically and possibly traditional fuels," states Jimmy Joyner, CEO of US BioTec. "USBO representatives have encountered opportunities to participate in energy contracts, and USBO has signed an initial agreement to engage in transactions with CEN Properties, Inc. for the marketing of bio-fuels nationwide. 'USBioTec Energy Services' was formed because the Parent company needed a new entity to conduct these type transactions and meet the parameters of its new business partners," explains Joyner.

Joyner adds, "The incentive for USBO to participate in marketing bio-fuels stems from the continued awareness that more and more fuel will be produced from renewable resources like grain, as evidenced in a report issued yesterday from China by the global conservation group -- WWF."

"For more than 20 years we have exceeded the earth's ability to support a consumptive lifestyle that is unsustainable and we cannot afford to continue down this path," WWF Director-General James Leape said, launching the WWF's 2006 Living Planet Report.

"If everyone around the world lived as those in America, we would need five planets to support us," Leape, an American, said in Beijing. The WWF report also stated that people in the United Arab Emirates were placing most stress per capita on the planet ahead of those in the United States, Finland and Canada. The average Australian used 6.6 "global" hectares to support their developed lifestyle, ranking behind the United States and Canada, but ahead of the United Kingdom, Russia, China and Japan.
