US Carrier Consolidates Its Operations Support System (OSS) With Evolving Systems

ENGLEWOOD, CO--(Marketwire - April 4, 2011) - Evolving Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: EVOL), a leading provider of software solutions and services to the wireless, wireline and IP carrier market, today announced that a major US carrier has placed an order to upgrade its OrderPath® system from Evolving Systems.

The upgrade consolidates the carrier's existing infrastructure and will allow the carrier to keep up with future requirements and increased demands on the system.

As part of the carrier's modernization initiative, the carrier will also be implementing Evolving Systems' newly released OrderPath Advanced Report Platform. This new business data module extends the value of the OrderPath solution by providing a flexible data reporting and presentation capability, allowing for richer access to increasingly important business information associated with competitive and network-oriented porting activities. With this new module, customers can create and deploy their own reports to meet specific business and operational needs.

"Evolving Systems' OrderPath solution is a leading inter-carrier ordering gateway, proven to support major operators' data exchange requirements," says Thad Dupper, CEO and chairman of Evolving Systems. "Migrating onto this new platform will provide the carrier with much needed flexibility as it looks to consolidate its business."
