U.S. Chamber Foundation to Co-Host Better Health Through Economic Opportunity Forum

Event to Focus on How Local, Regional Businesses Can Promote Healthy Practices in Communities

WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwired - November 05, 2015) - The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation (USCCF), in conjunction with the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce, the University of North Texas Health Science Center, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF), will host the Better Health Through Economic Opportunity Forum in Fort Worth, Texas.

The forum -- the fourth in a ten-city, two-year campaign developed by the USCCF in partnership with the RWJF -- will focus on the influence of local and regional businesses to empower healthier individuals and communities through the areas of education, employment, and income. Texas business leaders, industry experts, and elected officials will gather to discuss and explore the best ways to secure and enhance Texas' future, both nationally and globally.
