U.S. Concrete Disposes of Underutilized Real Property

EULESS, TX--(Marketwire - Oct 8, 2012) - U.S. Concrete, Inc. (NASDAQ: USCR) announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary, Central Concrete Supply Co., Inc., completed the sale of its real property located at 150 South Linden Avenue, South San Francisco, California for $3.35 million in cash. 

U.S. Concrete President and Chief Executive Officer, William J. Sandbrook, said, "The disposal of this underutilized property is yet another step in the strategic repositioning of our company. The proceeds further provide us with additional opportunities to increase cash deployed for earnings-enhancing activities such as acquisitions, organic growth initiatives and debt repayment."
