U.S. Congressional Candidate Cherilyn Eagar Comments on Democrat Incumbent Jim Matheson's Change of Heart to Run in 4th District

SALT LAKE CITY, UT--(Marketwire - Dec 15, 2011) - Cherilyn Eagar, a businesswoman and life-long conservative activist, who's running for U.S. Congress in Utah's 2nd District, commented today on Democrat incumbent Jim Matheson's change of heart to run in Utah's new 4th District race for a sixth term.

As the first candidate to declare she would run against Matheson or any Democrat for that matter, Eagar is confident Matheson can be retired in 2012 in any of the four districts. "Jim Matheson is bad for the 2nd District, he's bad for the 4th and he's bad for America. His voting record is very transparent. Once Utahns, regardless of party affiliation, look under the hood, they'll come to learn that Jim Matheson isn't a solution in Washington, he's the problem."

Eagar added with confidence, "We made an early decision to run in the 2nd District and we're staying the course no matter which Democrat or third-party candidate jumps in."
