US DoJ Environment and Natural Resources Division Implements Equivio's Near-Duplicate and Email Thread Technology

ROCKVILLE, MD and CHANTILLY, VA--(Marketwire - April 16, 2008) - Equivio and TechLaw Solutions today announced that the Environment and Natural Resources Division (ENRD) of the U.S. Department of Justice (USDOJ) has implemented Equivio's technology for the grouping of near-duplicate documents and reconstructing email threads. The ENRD is using the Equivio technology for native files, extracted text and paper-source OCR documents.

Equivio provides a vital competitive edge by helping litigators focus on the data they need to win. The grouping of near-duplicates and email threads allows attorneys to skip redundant data, and zoom in on the unique. This enhances the findability of data, and reduces the risk of missing key information.

In addition, the Equivio groupings ensure similar documents are treated consistently. Proven in hundreds of cases, the Equivio tool can also be relied on to reduce the review effort by 30-50%.

"We are delighted to be working with the Environment and Natural Resources Division," said Amir Milo, CEO of Equivio. "The consistent selection of Equivio by leading organizations throughout the eDiscovery sector further strengthens our position as the best-of-breed technology for near-duplicates and email threads."

The Equivio products were purchased through TechLaw Solutions, a pioneer in eDiscovery, litigation support and information management.
