US Federal Contractor Registration: Army Releases Total Small Business Security Apparel Solicitation on FedBizOpps (FBO)

WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwired - May 21, 2015) - The United States Federal Government as of 05/22/2015 has 499 open Solicitations in Pennsylvania where they are currently seeking out properly registered government contractors. According to the new USA Spending website, the federal government has so far spent over $180 billion in government contracts over the course of 1,057,327 government transactions in 2015. Pennsylvania specifically has spent almost $7 billion in government contracts in Fiscal 2015. US Federal Contractor Registration is reporting the release of the Total Small Business Security Apparel Solicitation in Pennsylvania posted to FedBizOpps (FBO) on May 19, 2015. The Total Small Business Security Apparel Solicitation response date is current set in record for May 22, 2015. Every business interested in bidding on the Total Small Business Security Apparel Solicitation must be properly registered in System for Award Management (SAM), as well as have the North American Industry Classification System codes 315990 - Apparel Accessories and Other Apparel Manufacturing, and 315 - Apparel Manufacturings filed in their SAM account/vendor profile.

This Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought Notice is issued for informational and planning purposes only. This is not a Request for a Quote (RFQ). It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Letterkenny Army Depot is currently conducting market research to locate qualified, experienced, and interested potential sources of service. Negative replies are also sought. Contractor should not include any pricing.

In addition, the following information is requested:

(1) Company cage Code, DUNS, name, address, point of contact, telephone number and email address
(2) Any small business status (8(a), HUB Zone, veteran-owned, women-owned, etc.)
(3) Please indicate which NAICS code(s) and FSC codes your company usually performs under Government contracts
(4) GSA contract number if applicable
(5) Indicate whether you are a manufacturer or distributor

The government plans to use the Internet and e-mail as the primary means of disseminating and exchanging information. Hard copies of documents posted on FBO will not be made available.
