The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to award a Multiple Award IDIQ Contract. The contracts will be awarded as an Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a base period of one year and four one-year option periods. The IDIQ is for electrical repairs, renovations, and alterations to facilities and utilities located at the NIST Gaithersburg, Maryland campus. This procurement will result in the award of Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, awarded to multiple contractors.

The specific tasks pursuant to this effort are described in the Statement of Work and Initial Task Order included in the solicitation. It is anticipated that the solicitation for this work will be issued on or about May 15, 2015, using FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. The Government anticipates the award of a Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with 1 base year and 4 option years, resulting in fixed price task orders, on or about August 17, 2015.

The solicitation will only be available via the Internet at the above website. Potential offerors are responsible for accessing the website. Interested parties must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resultant contract. There is no written solicitation document available, telephone requests will not be honored, and a bidders list will not be maintained.
