US Federal Contractor Registration: Department of Health and Human Services Releases Fiber Optic Connectivity Solicitation on FedBizOpps (FBO) in Georgia

US Federal Contractor Registration is reporting the release of the Installation of Fiber Optic Connectivity Solicitation in Georgia posted to FedBizOpps (FBO) on July 3, 2015. Fiber Optic Connectivity Solicitation currently has a response date set for July 22, 2015. Every business interested in bidding on the Fiber Optic Connectivity Solicitation must be properly registered in the SAM Registration, as well as have the North American Industry Classification System codes 811 -- Repair and Maintenance, and 811213 -- Communication Equipment Repair and Maintenance filed in their SAM account/vendor profile.

Below is a copy of the Installation of Fiber Optic Connectivity Solicitation as originally posted to FedBizOpps (FBO) on July 3, 2015:

i. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for services prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and another written solicitation will not be issued.

ii. The solicitation number is 2015-Q-17343 and is being issued as a request for Quote.

iii. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-73.

iv. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811213 with a size standard not to exceed $11 million (U.S.).

v. Information concerning the contract line item numbers and items, quantities and units of measure.

vi. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a Firmed Fixed Price purchase order to provide the following services: QTY 2 Local Channel-HSI Transmit 1.5 Gbps HD/SDI broadcast video quality transports TMECT from CDC to EDMI and QTY 1 Local Channel-HSI Receive 1.5 Gbps HD/SDI broadcast video quality transports TMESR from EDMI to CDC. The Government reserves the right to award any, all, or none of the items above. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

vii. Performance is to begin September 01, 2015 and continue through August 31, 2016 with four twelve month option periods.

viii. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. See Attachment 1 for Addenda to the provision.

ix. The provision 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, applies to this procurement. See Attachment 1, for Addenda to the provision that includes evaluation factors, sub-factors and evaluation criteria.

x. Offerors shall include a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. (Note, if offerors are registered within the System for Award Management (SAM) and certs and reps are up to date, make a statement to that affect in accordance with the provision at Attachment 1, pg 25.)

xi. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.

xii. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial items, applies to this acquisition and FAR clauses applicable including Health & Human Services Acquisition Regulation (HHSAR), and CDC applicable clauses.

xiii. There are no special contract requirements or terms and conditions related to contract financing arrangements or warranty.

xiv. The Defense Priorities and Allocations System does not apply to this acquisition.
