The U.S. Government's Department of Homeland Security Expands it's Use of Route1's Secure Remote Access Application

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 16, 2010) - Route1 Inc. (TSX VENTURE:ROI) ("Route1" or the "Company"), a security and identity management company, today announced that the U.S. Government's Department of Homeland Security ("DHS") has procured an additional 1,533 MobiKEY devices and TruOFFICE subscriptions through a reseller.

DHS has procured Route1's secure remote access application (TruOFFICE), related enabling devices (MobiKEY) and replacement smart cards through a vendor attached to the DHS First Source contract. There are a total of 12 vendors attached to this contract, all of which are new reseller relationships for Route1.

Route1 expects to fulfill the order during the month of September 2010. On fulfillment of the order, DHS will have approximately 8,150 paid, active TruOFFICE subscribers.
