US National Guard Deploys Librestream Video Collaboration Technology for Instant Situational Awareness

WINNIPEG, MANITOBA--(Marketwired - Nov. 17, 2014) - Librestream today announced it received a firm fixed-price order for Librestream's Onsight mobile video collaboration solution to support the Weapons of Mass Destruction Civil Support Teams (WMD-CST). Librestream received the order from ADS, Inc. on behalf of the US National Guard through the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Tailored Logistics Support (TLS) program.

The WMD-CST are the first responders for the US National Guard and tasked with assessing and providing support for potential chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear (CBRN) incidents. The Librestream Onsight solution will be installed at all 57 WMD-CST locations.

The WMD-CST first responder units will use Librestream's Onsight rugged smart cameras and video collaboration software that runs on computers and tablets. This approach will enable remote subject matter expert(s) to review potentially hazardous situations instantly and securely no matter where they are located. These specialized Onsight rugged video devices are also Ex certified to operate in potentially hazardous environments.
