USA Superior Energy Holdings Renegotiates Zavalla County Lease to Increase Production Prospects

HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwire - December 6, 2007) - USA Superior Energy Holdings, Inc. (OTCBB: USSU) (FRANKFURT: F2S) is pleased to announce that it has just renegotiated the lease in Zavalla County, Texas. This would be a development of numerous production prospects.

This lease is located in an area that is a series of 800 to 1,000 acre fields forming over volcanic serpentine plugs at a depth of 3,500 to 4,000 feet.

These fields were discovered from the 1960s to the 1980s with little development since then. The fields are caused by the intrusion of large masses of volcanic rock, which has much larger amounts of iron then the surrounding sedimentary rocks. These large localized "iron" masses can be seen on magnetic surveys much like a compass responding to a large mass of iron. Airborne magnetic surveys have been flown over much of the county, the result being the identification of over 14 anomalous "high iron masses" that have not been drilled.

Due to the tighter permeability of the formation, this project can benefit from nitrogen injection and horizontal laterals to heighten production.

There are currently over 333 acres leased with additional leasing in progress. With successful drilling of the initial 4 targets, the remaining 10 prospects will be leased and tested.
