Enterprise identity and Internet identity are quickly merging into a common problem space. As consumer- and citizen-facing identity systems are refined, they will heavily influence the way enterprises issue identifiers, manage personal information, and federate with other businesses.

The identity management market needs more than a one-size-fits-all interoperability standard that would fit every identity management system's needs. User-centric identity focuses on user empowerment, which enables businesses to offer customers more control of personal information.

Participants will demonstrate consumer and enterprise application experiences.

Participants will demonstrate interoperability of protocols, wire formats, card formats, policies, selectors, platforms, implementations, and user experience to show significant signs of maturity for user-centric Identity management systems.

The interoperability demonstration is expected to include the following technology, but not limited to, CardSpace, OpenID, Higgins, and Bandit.
