USO Meets 1 Million Messages Goal, Raises the Bar to New 1.4 Million Message Challenge

Milestone announced and celebrated Dec. 13 at USO Metropolitan New York 75th Anniversary Armed Forces Gala and Gold Medal Dinner
As part of its 75th anniversary celebration, the USO set an audacious goal to gather 1 million messages from America in support of service members everywhere. Americans answered the call in a big way, helping the USO reach its goal ahead of schedule. USO CEO and President Dr. J.D. Crouch II announced the accomplishment during the USO Metropolitan New York 75th Anniversary Armed Forces Gala and Gold Medal Dinner Dec. 13 and challenged America to raise the bar to 1.4 million messages -- representing the nearly 1.4 million, active-duty service members serving today.
Americans can join the USO as a Force Behind the Forces by visiting USO.org/message to send a message, helping the USO continue its mission to connect our nation's service members to family, home and country throughout their service to the nation. The messages gathered through the campaign are distributed to our global USO locations for digital display.
