USTA Selects IMG as U.S. Open Television Consultant for Several Non-U.S. Territories

IMG to Represent USTA in Europe, Middle East, Asia and Oceania From 2013-2016

WHITE PLAINS, NY--(Marketwire - Apr 18, 2011) - The USTA announced today that it has selected IMG Media, a division of IMG Worldwide, the global sports, fashion and media company, as the US Open television consultant for several non-U.S. territories. The appointment covers the four-year period from 2013-2016, and comes following a process in which the USTA interviewed several agencies.

Under the terms of the new agreement, IMG Media will represent the USTA in its television negotiations in Europe, the Middle East, Australia, New Zealand and Asia (excluding Japan). The 2010 U.S. Open was seen in more than 180 countries and received more than 40,000 hours of national and international television coverage.

The USTA will work with current U.S. Open television consultant Lagardere through this year as well as on a number of additional outside projects.
