uTest Strengthens Leadership Team by Hiring Ann Brady as CFO, Fumi Matsumoto as CTO, and Promoting Matt Johnston to CMO

Expanded Executive Team Positions uTest to Fully Leverage Market Opportunities in the Software Testing Space

BOSTON, MA--(Marketwire - March 21, 2011) - uTest, the world's largest software testing marketplace, today announced the recent hiring of Ann Brady as Chief Financial Officer, and Fumi Matsumoto as Chief Technology Officer. The company also announced the promotion of Matt Johnston to Chief Marketing Officer.

With these moves, uTest is well-prepared to manage its steep growth and to capitalize on the market opportunities before it. The company's growth has been spurred by a recent $13M C-round of funding, successive years of triple-digit revenue growth, and a blue-chip customer base that includes industry leaders such as Microsoft, AOL, Intuit and Groupon.

"These moves signal the next phase in uTest's maturation," said uTest CEO and co-founder Doron Reuveni. "The additions of Fumi and Ann, and the promotion of Matt, reflect the expansive growth we've achieved in the past three years, as well as the enormous opportunity in front of us in the application testing market."

About Ann Brady
In the newly-created role of CFO, Ann Brady will lead uTest's finance, HR and administrative efforts. With more than 25 years of financial management experience, Ann has a track record of successfully helping startups manage rapid growth. As the original CFO at Art Technology Group, Inc., Brady helped support the company from $5M to $250M in revenue, scale from 100 employees to more than 1,500 worldwide, and eventually facilitate their IPO. Prior to ATG, Ann joined Health Payment Review, Inc. (HPR) as an early employee, successfully taking them public, and positioning them for a positive exit in a sale to McKesson/HBOC.

Subsequently, she founded New England Business Solutions Group, LLC (NEBSG), a consulting firm specializing in interim C-level work for startup and emerging growth companies in need of business expertise. Her clients spanned a wide range of industries and stages, and included companies such as Apperian, Inc., an iPhone applications startup. Ann earned an MBA from Clark University Graduate School of Management in Worcester, MA.

About Fumi Matsumoto
In another newly created position within the company, Fumi Matsumoto has joined uTest as CTO. In this role, Fumi is responsible for shaping the product development roadmap, and leading the Product Management, Engineering, QA and IT functions.

Most recently, Fumi was the Co-founder and CTO at Allurent, where he was responsible for directing product strategy and managing the product development team. Most notably, he led the highly successful initiative to shift the company's business model from licensed enterprise software to a SaaS delivery model. Prior to Allurent, Fumi was the CTO at Art Technology Group (ATG), where he spent 11 years as a founding employee, defining ATG's product positioning, feature development, and partnership strategies and personally driving the creation of ATG's Dynamo product line. He holds a Masters degree in Media Arts and Sciences from MIT and a B.A. degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Cornell University.

About Matt Johnston
Matt Johnston, who joined uTest in late 2008 as Vice President of Marketing & Community, has been promoted to the position of CMO. Matt will continue to lead uTest's efforts in shaping the brand, building awareness, generating leads and creating a world-class community of testers. In his expanded role as CMO, Matt will also focus on more strategic initiatives, such as forming key partnerships and helping to plan uTest's expansion strategy.

Prior to joining uTest, Matt served as VP of Marketing at crowdsourcing pioneer, OnForce. Before that, he was the Director of Marketing at Mimeo.com and worked at Herman Miller as a commercialization strategist. Matt earned a B.A. in Marketing from Calvin College, as well as an MBA in Marketing & Technology from New York University's Stern School of Business.
