Crowdsourced Software Testing Leader Comes Out on Top at 9th Annual Stevie® Awards

BOSTON, MA--(Marketwire - Jun 21, 2011) - uTest, the world's largest software testing marketplace, won the Stevie® Awards' top honor as "Most Innovative Small Company of the Year" at the 9th Annual American Business Awards Banquet in New York City. In addition, uTest Express -- a service aimed at giving startups affordable access to the company's crowdsourced professional testing service for web and mobile apps -- was named a Finalist for "Best New Product of the Year."

"uTest is honored to be named the American Business Association's 'Most Innovative Small Company of the Year.' It validates how creative thinking has remained the constant driver of our success, enabling us to take the once novel idea of crowdsourced software testing and transform it into a truly disruptive technology," said Doron Reuveni, CEO of uTest.

Reuveni continued: "Our employees and community members have always shared an inherent enthusiasm for improving our service in new and creative ways. This is the reason why industry-leading companies like Google, Microsoft and Groupon have embraced the value of real-world application testing, and made it an essential part of their QA process."

This year, the American Business Association received a record number of Stevie nominations, comprised of more than 2,800 entries submitted by organizations of all sizes and from virtually every industry. Reuveni remarked at the awards banquet that uTest was honored to be in the company of the four other finalists: Appature Inc., Fulton Innovation, seoClarity, and Webs, Inc.
