Vail Resorts Announces Top Vacation Deals for 2008-2009

Vail Resorts (NYSE:MTN), operator of the five world-class mountain resorts of Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone in Colorado and Heavenly in California and Nevada, is working hard to make it easier for guests to take their ski and snowboard vacation this winter.

Here's our list of the top four ways to save on nearly every aspect of a ski and ride vacation this season with Vail Resorts.

1. Epic Season Pass

A full season of unlimited and unrestricted skiing at Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, Heavenly and Arapahoe Basin for only $579 for adults and $279 for children ages 5-12. The Epic Season Pass must be purchased by Nov. 15, 2008. Get yours today at

2. Unlimited Ski and Snowboard Rental Pass

If you'd rather leave your equipment at home, then be sure to check out the new Unlimited Equipment Rental Passes at all five resorts this winter. The Rentskis Unlimited Rental Pass provides you with unlimited ski and snowboard rentals all season long at any Vail Sports, Beaver Creek Sports, Breckenridge Sports, Keystone Sports or Heavenly Sports locations for as little as $359. Guests can take the equipment out for a maximum of seven days at a time, with no black out dates.

3. Baggage Bailout

To help offset added airline fees, Vail Resorts is offering a "Baggage Bailout" for skiers and snowboarders staying at Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone or Heavenly this winter. Guests will receive a $50 credit when they book at least a 4-day, 4-night ski or snowboard vacation by Dec. 1 for travel this ski season through April 20, 2009.

To qualify for a "Baggage Bailout," guests must book four or more nights of lodging at any lodging property at Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone or Heavenly and buy at least four days of adult lift tickets.

Guests who have already purchased Vail Resorts' Epic Season Pass are qualified for the "Baggage Bailout," as long as they purchase at least four nights of lodging. Children may also receive a $25 baggage credit, if at least four days of children's lift tickets are purchased. The "Baggage Bailout" credit is based on occupancy limits of two people per room.
