Valerie Jennings, CEO of JSMM, Releases Documentary YouTube Video About Her Entrepreneurial Journey

KANSAS CITY, MO--(Marketwired - Aug 5, 2014) - Valerie Jennings, CEO and founder of Jennings Social Media Marketing (JSMM) and Viral Bolt Media (VBM), released a short, documentary style YouTube video about her entrepreneurial journey. The young entrepreneur started her company at age 24, 11 years ago. She shares many of her early trials and tribulations in the video.

Jennings talks about how starting the business young and not knowing much about financials, operations, etc. was a huge disadvantage. However, despite these obstacles, JSMM has grown to represent up-and-coming startups and publicly traded companies across the U.S., Canada, Ireland and St. Martin. Additionally, Jennings received many awards for her entrepreneurship, and in 2012, she created JSMM sister company, VBM, a full service digital agency providing website design and development, mobile sites and online videos.

In the video produced by the VBM team, Jennings discusses her decision to lead the forefront in social media marketing three years after the company's launch. "We were in the right place at the right time," Jennings said. "There were some publicly traded clients that sought us out because they were looking for early adopters in social media to run some test pilots in their business, and those pilots turned out to be very successful."
