Valicor to Speak on Corn Oil Optimization at Fuel and Ethanol Workshop Conference

DEXTER, MI --(Marketwired - April 13, 2016) - Dr. Jennifer Aurandt, Research and Development Program Manager, will present Valicor's latest findings on distillers corn oil (DCO) optimization using disc stack separators at the 2016 Fuel & Ethanol Workshop in Milwaukee, WI, June 20-23.

Valicor has investigated and analyzed varying ethanol plant operations to determine the optimal methods for increasing the extraction of DCO. In their analysis, the fermentation process was reviewed at each step to optimize corn oil extraction. During the presentation, Dr. Aurandt will review the optimal process parameters to help plants refine their DCO extraction process. Data will be shared that correlates plant operations to increased DCO yield. Techniques used to optimize corn oil will be shared. Also, optimal conditions of centrifuge operations will be provided to ensure efficient extraction of DCO.

Valicor Corn Oil Separation Systems return over $100M in annual revenues to ethanol producing customers. Since 2007, Valicor has been an industry leader in the extraction of DCO employing disc stack centrifuges in North America. By providing customers with comprehensive services and preventative maintenance programs, Valicor remains a dynamic partner with ethanol plants throughout North America.
