Valley High Ventures Project and IR Update

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - April 14, 2009) - Valley High Ventures Ltd. ("Valley High") (TSX VENTURE:VHV) is pleased to provide a project update on its Cordero Project in Mexico and its Mount Polley project in British Columbia and also announces that it has engaged Mantis Capital Partners Ltd.(Mantis Capital) to provide investor relations services.

Cordero Project

Valley High (as project operator) and joint venture partner Levon Resources Ltd. ("Levon") began field work on the Cordero project in mid-February with work focusing on detailed geological mapping, rock sampling and expansion of the current soil sampling grid in conjunction with initial evaluation of additional satellite targets on this large 10,000 hectare property.

The Cordero silver, gold, lead, zinc project is located 35 kilometers northeast of Hidalgo Del Parral, Chihuahua, Mexico and encompasses a high level, porphyry-style silver, gold, lead, zinc, and molybdenum district with volcanic-hosted silver, gold and base metal veins and stockworks. Valley High's wholly owned Mexican subsidiary acquired the project in 2006 and conducted extensive soil sampling, geological mapping, trenching and IP and re-assaying of historical core. This work has identified several high priority exploration targets that reflect potential for bulk mine-able mineralization as indicated from the results of historical drill hole COR 1 that returned 54.9 metres grading 0.17 g/T gold, 78.5 g/T Ag, 1.12% Zn and 1.36% Pb starting at a depth of 165.1m.

The current work program is designed to select and rank priority drill targets as well as expand the area of coverage outboard from the existing grids into areas of alluvial cover. This phase 1 program is ongoing with additional work to include underground sampling, geophysics and alteration studies. A phase 2 drill program is anticipated and drill bids are being solicited.

As announced on February 12, 2009, Levon may earn a 51% interest in Valley High's Cordero by spending Cdn $1,250,000 by the end of February 2013 with a first year work commitment of Cdn. $250,000.

Mt Polley Project

At the company's Mt Polley project located near Williams Lake, British Columbia, the company completed a field program in December 2008 that included re-logging of select drill holes from the vicinity of the Boundary Zone and 10 km of ground magnetic surveying. This program will begin again in June followed by a minimum 1500m drill program designed to test combined magnetic and chargeability anomalies with signatures similar to those that highlight deposits on the adjacent mine property of Imperial Metals.

Valley High's land position covers in excess of 10,000 hectares and adjoins the Imperial Metals' owned Mt Polley Copper and Gold mine. The Boundary Zone is a promising copper/gold mineralized area that straddles the common claim boundary between the two companies land positions and has been subject to extensive exploration programs over the years by both companies on their respective sides of the claim boundary.

Mantis Capital

Mantis Capital Partners Ltd., subject to regulatory approval, has been engaged by the company to provide investor relations services. Mantis will be responsible for coordinating and managing Valley High's marketing and communications efforts including liaising with investment dealers and investment advisors and introducing the Company to them and assisting the Company in the preparation of presentation materials directed toward investment dealers.

Under the six-month renewable agreement, Mantis will receive a monthly service fee in the amount of $2,000 per month and has been granted 125,000 options exercisable at $0.15 whereby 50% of the Options will vest six months after the grant date and 50% of the Options will vest 12 months after the grant date. The Options will expire on the earlier of the date that is (i) five years after the grant date, and (ii) 30 days following termination of the Agreement. This agreement has been negotiated entirely at arm's length. Mantis Capital is located in Vancouver, B.C.

In addition, the Company has granted 425,000 incentive stock options, to directors, employees and consultants pursuant to the Company's stock option plan, a rolling plan with a maximum of 10 per cent of issued shares reserved for issuance. The 425,000 options are exercisable for a period of five years at a price of 15 cents per share (subject to vesting restrictions over a period of 2 years from the date of grant) and are subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange. In addition 50,000 options have been cancelled. Following this grant, there will be 2,987,000 stock options outstanding.
