RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL--(Marketwire - February 25, 2010) - Valor Econômico, the largest communication vehicle of economy, business and finance areas in Brazil, in partnership with RIWeb, a division of Comunique-se, specialized in online services for investor relations, has just launched a new channel for relations with investors on its internet portal.
A new area of the site, inaugurated by ValorRI (www.valoronline.com.br/valor_ri), brings together in one place, all public company quarterly and annual balances, published in the newspaper Valor, as well as quotations, a calendar for disclosure of results or of meetings with investors and videos of company presentations. The channel was launched with a profile on Twitter (twitter.com/valor_ri), so that readers can accompany ValorRI updates with greater flexibility.
In April, the channel will be extended and companies will be able to have exclusive pages, with highlights from the IR area, as well as a list of analysts that cover the company, daily paper quotations, and videos and services such as sector and company email alerts.
For RIWeb, the partnership is a great contribution to the capital market. "The ValorRI channel offers any person aggregated information from the main public companies, allowing easier access to these companies than traditional means can offer," confirms Rodrigo Azevedo, CEO and Founder of RIWeb/Comunique-se.
For Andréa Flores, Valor's Legal Publicity Director, the new Channel will not compete with Company Investor Relations sites, and will indeed be a communication showcase by public companies.
