Vampt Founder Ian Toews Announces NASCAR Sponsorship

Canadian Producer of New Alcohol Beverage to Sponsor J.J. Yeley at Weekend NASCAR Event

ATLANTA, GEORGIA and KELOWNA, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Aug. 30, 2011) - Vampt Founder Ian Toews is proud to announce that it will sponsor J.J. Yeley at the AdvoCare 500 Atlanta Motor Speedway's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series taking place Sept. 2 to 4, 2011.

Vampt's sponsorship of Yeley marks its foray into NASCAR sponsorship and coincides with launch of its initial product offering – two agave-infused ready-to-drink malt beverages. Both the nectarine SMOOTH TALKER™ and citrus MIDNIGHT WARRIOR™ flavours have 8 percent alcohol by volume and offer less sweetness and more alcohol than other malt beverages.

"The Vampt drinking experience easily connects to the NASCAR fan and culture," said Vampt Founder and Chairman Ian Toews. "We have no doubt that this is the beginning of a great relationship with Front Row Motorsports and J.J. Yeley."

Vampt is a privately owned Canadian company poised to become the leading producer of Vampt, an innovative tequila-inspired beverage with 8 per cent alcohol. Vampt's Smooth Talker and Midnight Warrior are available in select US states and will be in introduced in Canada soon. The Canadian formulation will be tequila-based and will be 7 per cent alcohol by volume.

Yeley has seven Sprint Cup career starts at the 1.54-mile oval in Hampton, Ga., with a career-high finish of 15th (2006).

"It'll be great to have the Vampt brand on the No. 38 Ford Fusion at Atlanta," Yeley said. "They're a cool new company with a truly refreshing and ultra premium product. We're looking forward to introducing it to NASCAR fans. Atlanta Motor Speedway is a great place for their debut. It's fast and intense and a great place to race. It's one of the big holiday-weekend races that will have a huge viewing audience, so it will be great initial national exposure for them."

Toews says Yeley's car will be emblazoned with Vampt's unique logo and branding featuring hands around a bottle and the tag line "Never Follow, Always Lead." He said behind-the-scenes race activity and video will be featured online at before, during and after the event.

Vampt beverages are currently available in Arizona, Idaho, Oregon, Washington State, New Mexico and Montana and will be available in Georgia and Colorado this fall. Follow us on Facebook ( and on twitter at
