Van Nuys Airport Practices Emergency Response in Full-Scale Simulated Aircraft Accident

VAN NUYS, CA--(Marketwire - June 10, 2008) -

WHAT:   The Van Nuys Airport will conduct a full-scale emergency exercise
        in an effort to test and evaluate the airport's emergency
        procedures.  Although VNY is not regulated under CFR, Part 139, VNY
        remains dedicated to emergency preparation and will periodically
        conduct a full-scale emergency exercise every three to four years.

        Excellent opportunity for visuals.

WHEN:   Wednesday, June 11, 2008 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
        (Arrive before 10 a.m. to witness accident)

WHO:    Los Angeles Fire Department, Los Angeles Police Department, Federal
        Aviation Administration, Transportation Security Administration,
        National Transportation Safety Board and several Van Nuys Airport
        Divisions (Airfield Operations, Airport Police, Construction and
        Maintenance, Public Relations, LAWA Emergency Preparedness)
