Vancouver Entertainment and Events Company, Blueprint, Poised to Raise $50,000 for the 5th Annual Ride to Conquer Cancer

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - June 1, 2013) - Blueprint, Vancouver's largest events and entertainment company, is pleased to announce their participation in the 5^th Annual Ride to Conquer Cancer, on June 15^th and 16^th, 2013. This will be the company's third year participating in the race and charity effort, but the first year under the Blueprint name, following the recent merge of Blueprint Events and The Adelphia Group in January 2013.

To date, Blueprint has raised $100,000 for the charity - a 200-kilometer bike ride from Vancouver to Seattle, in support of life-saving research and enhancements to care for cancer patients in British Columbia through the BC Cancer Foundation. This year, Blueprint will have sixteen employees join the race, and is poised to raise $50,000.

Blueprint's involvement in the Ride to Conquer Cancer began due to the direct impact of the disease on co-owner Bill Kerasiotis, who lost his father to the cancer in 2008. Ironically, this year's race will fall on Father's Day.

In addition to participating in the race, from June 1^st to June 14^th, Blueprint will be donating one dollar from every cover charge at their select bars, Celebrities, The Charles Bar and The Caprice, to go directly to the Ride to Conquer Cancer.
