Vantex Continues Field Work at Guillet

LA PRAIRIE, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - March 13, 2007) - In addition to the drilling program in progress, Vantex Resources Ltd (TSX VENTURE:VTX) has started a 150 km magnetic survey to cover the eastern and southern portions of the property. With this ground survey, the company intends to precisely locate the low mag areas within all magnetic axis cross cutting the property.

The recent Kelly discovery (62 g/t au over 3.3 metres) as well as the Lake Expanse occurrence are both related to low magnetic anomalies.

Kelly Showing

The current 2,000 metre drilling program is designed to test the gold potential of the recently discovered Kelly showing (LE07-206). Two holes drilled at 150 and 300 meters to the west of drill hole LE07-206 cut the same favourable geological structures. Results will be announced as they are received. Other drill holes will be located close to the discovery hole and along its north eastern extension.

Lake Expanse Occurrence

Drill hole LE07-201 cut a gold bearing structure, sub-parallel to Zone C, which returned 1.89 g/t Au over 2.8 metres, including 10.95 g/t Au over 0.3 metre. True width is unknown. This zone appears to correlate with a sheared basalt observed in hole LE06-171 and which returned 7.19 g/t Au over 1.5 metres.

Geophysical surveys on Opi and Mitsumi properties, located in the Opinaca region, have been completed. Interpretation of geophysical data is being carried out by G. Lambert Geosciences Inc, and should be available in the coming days. Geophysical targets derived from this survey should be drilled this year.

Samples were prepared and assayed at Laboratoire Expert of Rouyn-Noranda. Core is stored at the company's facility in Belleterre. Current programs are being supervised by qualified person Daniel Kelly (pro. Ing.) and consultant to Vantex. The latter also reviewed and approved the present press release.
