Vanu, Inc. Establishes Presence in India With Research and Development Center in Bangalore

CAMBRIDGE, MA and BANGALORE, INDIA--(Marketwire - December 6, 2007) - Vanu®, Inc., a leader in the development of software radio solutions for cellular operators, announced today that it has opened a research and development center in Bangalore, India. Tapping India's impressive resource of software engineering talent demonstrates Vanu's continuing commitment to speed the pace of innovation while offering new solutions that are tailored to emerging markets, particularly India's rural communities. The research and development center is a subsidiary of Vanu, Inc., and plans to expand its staff starting in 2008 to develop 3G and 4G waveforms in India according to Pradeep Malhotra, Managing Director of Vanu India Pvt.
