Varnish Summit San Francisco
Varnish core developers will share how to get started with Varnish and do a deep dive into their respective areas of expertise with the more advanced audience. A special guest speaker at the San Francisco summit is Jenifer Zinner, a traffic and site reliability engineer at Pinterest. Zinner will describe how Pinterest built a Varnish implementation in the AWS ecosystem and share lessons learned during a migration from Varnish 3 to 4. We will wrap up the summit by giving you a sneak peek into the Varnish brewery and share favorite recipes.

In New York, core developers of Varnish Cache will offer sessions from how to get started with Varnish to more technical deep dives on what the product can offer. In addition, Varnish Software CTO and founder Per Buer will do a Q&A with Matt Levine, founder and CTO at CacheFly, a Content Delivery Network (CDN) provider based in Chicago, to discuss how CacheFly used Varnish Plus to gain operational efficiencies. As Varnish Software is known for its passion for beer brewing, we will wrap up the summit by giving our audience a sneak peek into our very own brewery.
