VCAD Fall Portfolio Show Shines Spotlight on Upcoming Grads

VANCOUVER, BC--(Marketwired - September 24, 2015) - On Wednesday, October 28, 2015 from 5-8pm, Visual College of Art and Design (VCAD) will be hosting its seasonal Portfolio Show at CBC Studio 700 to feature artwork of upcoming graduates from several of its art and design programs.

Showcasing the work of more than 50 graduates from the Graphic Design, Interior Design, Fashion Design, Marketing and Merchandising for Fashion, 3D Modeling Animation Art and Design, and Game Development and Design programs, the Portfolio Show will provide an excellent opportunity for employers to check out the fresh new talent ready to make their mark on Vancouver's art and design industry.

The event is also a perfect opportunity for prospective students to learn how VCAD can help prepare them for art and design careers. Attendees will be able to ask instructors about VCAD's industry-leading programs, meet members of Vancouver's art and design community, and talk to grads about how to launch a career in the creative arts!

All VCAD diploma programs are designed to ensure graduates are prepared to meet the demands of their chosen industries by providing focused and specialized training on the latest tools, techniques, and technology used by professionals in the field.

Graduate artwork will be on display on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 from 5-8pm at CBC Studio 700 at 700 Hamilton Street.
