Vegas Venture Forum Hosts Investor-Ready Companies and Investors

Accredited Investors Invited to Meet Dynamic Entrepreneurs

LAS VEGAS, NV -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 11, 2006 -- The Technology Business Alliance of Nevada (TBAN) announced today that it will host the third annual Vegas Venture Forum on April 27 and 28 at the Green Valley Ranch Resort in Henderson, Nevada.

The Forum will feature dynamic speakers who will discuss current capital and finance issues. In partnership with the Nevada Cancer Institute and southern Nevada's health sciences community, the Forum will also present the latest in biotech advances.

Vegas Venture Forum co-chair Mike Ballard anticipates the participation of nearly 200 entrepreneurs, business professionals and investors at this two-day conference.

"This is the best networking event of the year for anyone looking for investors or to invest in start-up companies," said Ballard. "Companies that attended last year met some great contacts and fostered relationships that resulted in millions of dollars in funding."

One such company is Batteries and Bands based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Company executive Brian Ashton attended the 2005 Vegas Venture Forum and greatly expanded his potential investor pool, and even found a few companies he wanted to invest in.

"Presenting at the Vegas Venture Forum resulted in an invitation to present at the top private equity conference in my industry," said Ashton. "This dramatically increased our visibility and helped us to raise the funds we were seeking."

More than sixteen "investor-ready," compelling early-stage companies will present their business models and funding requirements before an audience of public and private investors, influencers, community leaders and invited special guests.

"The Vegas Venture Forum is a perfect opportunity for an affluent individual looking to provide capital for business start-ups," said Ballard.
