Velocity Technology Solutions Implements SAP ECC System for Nutec

CHARLOTTE, NC--(Marketwired - January 12, 2016) - Velocity Technology Solutions Inc., a global leader in enterprise and business application cloud services, announced implementation and go-live for an SAP ERP Central Component (ECC) System for Nutec Inc. at their U.S. operations in North Carolina. This system was integrated into their existing SAP environment in Mexico and enables Nutec to process orders and ship their high temperature insulation wool products throughout the United States.

Velocity was selected as the implementation partner for the Nutec project, which includes two phases, based on overall value and committed timelines. Phase One included the FICO modules (general ledger, asset management, accounts payable, cost and profit center accounting as well as interfaces to payroll systems and banks), purchasing and U.S. tax configuration. Phase Two includes the extension of the FICO module to cover accounts receivables and additional purchasing features, as well as SD for sales order processing and pricing. Phase Two is expected to go-live in the second quarter of 2016.

The project was significant because Velocity worked with an international company -- Nutec, Inc. is one company of Grupo Nutec, headquartered in Mexico, with operations in 50 countries -- to bring their first U.S. facility live in less than two months using an international template for managing existing business processes.
