At Cerner, Edwards held the prestigious Engineering Fellow designation in recognition of his numerous distinguished technical contributions, including development of distributed middleware and semantic search systems. Most recently, he was responsible for strategy and development of cloud identity services and big data infrastructure. In addition, Edwards has served as technical advisor to early stage startups on matters related to software development, software architecture and product strategy.
