Vendum Batteries Announces Its Attendance to Thermoelectric Energy Solutions London

EL SEGUNDO, CA--(Marketwire - April 6, 2011) - Vendum Batteries (OTCBB: VNDB), a battery technology development company, announces its attendance to 'Thermoelectric Energy Solutions' on 6th April in London.

The aim of attending this event is to meet and network with experts in fields other than batteries -- a key part of Vendum's long-term strategic plan is to carry out further R&D to create new Carbon Nanotube (CNT) based materials for a variety of applications.

Fraser Cottington, CEO of Vendum, said, "I believe that our existing IP can be further developed to offer exciting new materials, and we look forward to meeting other organisations with extensive experience and technical expertise in thermoelectrics.

"As with the other events we have attended, we hope we can forge new relationships to move Vendum forward, developing new market opportunities and pushing the frontier of clean battery technology," Fraser concludes.

About Vendum Batteries Inc.
Vendum Batteries has a pending patent on a non-toxic, carbon-based light-weight battery. The paper-thin battery contains none of the toxic elements used in conventional batteries and its cutting edge carbon nanotube and cellulose-based technology makes it entirely biodegradable. The Vendum Battery will be developed from its current low power capacity, to soon accommodate the ever-increasing global demand for durable battery power for cell phones, iPods, gadgets, human implants and eventually electrical vehicles etc. Americans purchase around 5 billion batteries, leaving 146,000 tons of battery waste behind, and given that the worldwide personal battery use is a growing $63 billion industry, the potential of this revolutionary non-toxic technology could be enormous.
