Venga: GMI to Re-Start Its Liberian Gold Dredging Operations in February, 2011

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Jan. 7, 2011) - Venga Aerospace Systems Inc. (TSX VENTURE:VAV)(PINK SHEETS:VNGAF) (the "Company") announced that the Company's mining affiliate, Global Mineral Investments, LLC ("GMI") has now advised that it plans to re-commence GMI's dredging operation on the Dugbe River in Sinoe County, Liberia in the first week of February, 2011. "Our equipment is on site, we have a 40 man team ready to go and we are hopeful that we will be able to achieve a much higher level of production this operational season," stated GMI's President, Jon O'Regan.

Venga currently holds a 20% equity interest in GMI.
