Verbina Obtains Final Report for Airborne Survey at Its Gaiashk Project

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 26, 2008) -

VERBINA RESOURCES INC. ("Verbina" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:VUR) is pleased to announce that it recently received from GEOTECH Ltd. the final report and maps from airborne magnetic and Versatile Time Domain Electromagnetic (VTEM) geophysical surveys flown at their uranium exploration project in Gaiashk township, Elliot Lake area, Ontario (the "Gaiashk Project") in January 2008. The survey was flown in conjunction with Pele Mountain Resources Inc. ("Pele") and International Montoro Resources Inc. on their adjacent properties.

Verbina's Gaiashk Project is located on the south limb of the Quirke Lake syncline which is formed by Proterozoic age, Huronian, sedimentary rock units. The Huronian sediments which underlie the property rest unconformably on Archean basement rocks with the uranium-bearing quartz pebble conglomerates contained in the units immediately above the unconformity.

In addition to the uranium hosted in the quartz-pebble conglomerates, geological considerations suggest that there may have been remobilization of uranium at or near the Archean-Huronian unconformity. Pele, on their adjacent property, has reported the presence of hydrothermal uranium mineralization in the area of the unconformity in a press release issued on January 17, 2008. Hydrothermal, uranium-bearing solutions circulating through the area would tend to deposit the uranium in reducing zones associated with graphite-rich or sulphide-rich horizons. The recent airborne survey was flown for the purpose of identifying conductive zones which may represent reducing environments where high grade unconformity related uranium mineralization could be located. Verbina's consulting geophysicist is currently evaluating the survey results for conductive zones that would subsequently be tested by drilling.

Stewart Winter, M.Sc., P.Geo. and CEO of Verbina is the Qualified Person under NI 43-101 for the Gaiashk Project and is supervising the exploration program on the Gaiashk Project.
