Verena diamond drill holes were drilled by Geofocus Ltd, a Brazilian drilling company based in Sao Paulo, Brazil and were drilled 110 meters apart. The core was split, and half was sent for assay at Lakefield-Geosol lab, in Belo Horizonte. Duplicate samples were taken every 10 meters and blank samples were added every 20 samples. All samples were fire assayed for gold using 50 gram samples.

An Independent Geologist Amilcar Jose Nascimento registered in the Brazilian Engineering Council (CREA Lic. No. 5066.8) was hired by Verena to oversee the drilling, split and log core and send samples to Lakefield Geosol.

Currently, Verena has retained Roscoe Postle Associates, Inc. to verify and update Mineral Resources at the Volta Grande Property, and they have reviewed this Press Release as a qualified person.
