VeriSign Helps Clear Channel Radio Stations Lock on to Listeners With Mobile Services

Interactive Services Strengthen Connection Between Consumers and Major Brands

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA--(Marketwire - June 6, 2007) - VeriSign, Inc. (NASDAQ: VRSN), the leading provider of digital infrastructure for the networked world, today announced that Clear Channel Radio has selected VeriSign Interactive Applications Services to deploy a robust suite of mobile services that strengthen the connection between listeners and their favorite radio station.

Clear Channel Radio launched the interactive mobile services in New York in May 2007, and expects to bring close to 100 additional stations across the U.S. on-board by the end of 2008.

The VeriSign-enabled services benefit both the listener and the individual radio stations alike. Listeners can now send text messages directly from their mobile devices to the studio, participate in contests, receive an alert before their favorite song plays, make requests and dedications, and view the last 10 songs played on their favorite stations.

The integrated VeriSign services adopted by Clear Channel Radio for listeners with appropriate carrier data plans and compatible mobile devices include:

--  SMS services that allow listeners to exchange text messages directly
    with radio stations.
--  A customized WAP mobile portal that presents each station's look and
    feel, and allows listeners to view and purchase available content and
--  A J2ME portal that is installed on the consumer's mobile device,
    allowing listeners to access station-specific services, and even purchase
    content and services.
