Veritas Prep Donates 200 Complimentary GMAT Prep Courses to 2011 Management Leadership for Tomorrow Fellows

Organization Serving the Next Generation of Minority Leaders Collaborates With Leading GMAT Prep and Admissions Consulting Firm to Offer a Free GMAT Preparation Course to 2011 Class

MALIBU, CA--(Marketwire - April 6, 2011) - Veritas Prep, a leading GMAT prep and MBA admissions consulting firm, in collaboration with Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT), a national non-profit that develops African-American, Hispanic-American and Native American young people for leadership positions, surprised the 2011 cohort of MLT Fellows earlier this month by donating free GMAT courses to the entire group. The announcement was made during Veritas Prep co-founder and CEO Chad Troutwine's remarks to the 2011 MLT Fellows during the MLT MBA Prep Kick-off Seminar at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business in Charlottesville, Virginia.

"MLT has formalized the delivery of several key ingredients to career success, traditionally left to informal channels to which minorities have limited access. As MLT works with minority MBA candidates, the GMAT is of significant importance in their admission to a top tier MBA program," said Helen Summers, Director of MBA Programs at Management Leadership for Tomorrow. "By offering their GMAT prep course for free to every 2011 MLT Fellow, Veritas Prep has made a bold and significant contribution to their future success."

Management Leadership for Tomorrow identifies 200 promising pre-MBA minority students each year for its MBA Prep program and provides leadership training, skill development and career success programming in an effort to foster the next generation of minority leaders. MLT's pre-MBA programming works to increase the minority presence in the leading business schools and facilitate the post-MBA career transition. MLT is the number one source of minority students at the nation's top MBA programs.

"The work being done by MLT is essential to ensure that there is a pipeline of minority talent to corporate, non-profit and entrepreneurial senior leadership positions. As our relationship with MLT has grown over the past few years, we saw an opportunity to support their efforts in a greater way by offering the 2011 MBA Prep class free access to a GMAT prep course," said Chad Troutwine, co-founder and CEO of Veritas Prep. "We're all too familiar with the challenges many of these Fellows face and we're honored to do what we can to level the playing field as they work toward earning their degree from a top graduate business school."

2011 MLT Fellows will be able to take the Veritas Prep Full Course™, a rigorous and comprehensive preparation course that features 42 hours of instruction over seven weeks where they will learn the higher-order thinking skills that the GMAT measures. Veritas Prep is donating more than $320,000 in free GMAT prep course tuition to the 2011 MLT Fellows.
