VeriWave Chosen to Provide Test Systems for InteropLabs Voice Over Wireless Showcase at Interop Las Vegas 2007

PORTLAND, OR -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 14, 2007 -- VeriWave, Inc., the leading provider of Wireless LAN functional and performance analysis systems, has been selected by Interop Las Vegas 2007 as the sole provider for all test equipment used in the InteropLabs for the VoIP Wireless Initiative being held during the event, taking place at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, May 20-25. The InteropLabs is the world's only real-time live interoperability test bed for the latest networking technologies, and will showcase the latest solutions to real engineering challenges in a live, vendor-neutral, standards-based arena and will focus this year on two primary initiatives: Network Access Control and VoIP security and integration. The InteropLabs gives attendees the opportunity to test-drive new products and technologies based on performance, not marketing claims.

InteropLab attendees will be able to interact live with the VoIP Wireless Initiative demo, manipulating the call load as well as other varying network conditions, while experiencing first-hand the resulting impact this may have on call quality. VeriWave's WaveTest90 systems will generate traffic to demonstrate varying call volumes and network capacities, and provide ongoing monitoring of metrics used to assess performance -- QoS, call control, capacity planning, provisioning, architecture, etc.

Leading providers of enterprise wireless LAN (WLAN) infrastructures participating in the InteropLabs VoWLAN showcase include: Aruba Networks, Cisco Systems, D-Link, Extreme Networks, HP, Juniper Networks, Motorola, and Trapeze Networks, each deploying access points, a WLAN switch and multiple VoIP handsets. The cooperative InteropLabs environment offers manufacturers a unique opportunity to gain new insights into challenges inherent in deploying multi-vendor, standards-based VoIP networks.
