Verizon Patent Infringement Ruling Does Not Affect Innovative Communications Technologies Private Network Products

SEATTLE, WA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 12, 2007 -- Innovative Communications Technologies, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: ICTN) stated today that the Verizon Communications patent infringement suit and ruling against Vonage Holdings Corp. does not affect the Innovative Communications Private Network suite of products.

This clarification is in response to several inquiries regarding Innovative Communications' proprietary software Voiceover Packetization Technology (VOPT) and if the recent ruling may have any negative impact on its products. Innovative Communications clarifies that VOPT call routing is not a Voiceover Internet Protocol (VoIP) solution and is not plagued by any of the issues inherent with VoIP.

"This ruling further sets apart the Innovative Communications' VOPT proprietary software, elevating it from the competition and additionally from any class of patent infringement," states Barry Henthorn, Innovative Communications' CEO. "Innovative Communications' state of the art VOPT proprietary software was developed to be superior to other voice type products on the market, including VoIP, with regard to audio quality, network dependability, ease of use and cost."
