VerMints Encourages More Kissing, Less Coughing

WEYMOUTH, MA--(Marketwired - October 01, 2015) - Fall is underway and it's the perfect time for snuggling up close to the ones you love -- partners, kids, grandparents, and friends. All natural, certified organic, and vegan American mint company VerMints wants people to kiss more.

"We like to keep things simple with clean, better-for-you ingredients," says CEO Gary Rinkus, who believes that kissing is one of the most important human connections. He's not the only one; an article in Psychology Today says that kissing -- often and long -- may actually improve immune resistance to allergens, and resistance to stress.

Rinkus continues: "While most breath mint and chewing gum ingredients include GMO components, carcinogenic sugars, toxic preservatives and artificial flavors and colors, VerMints' ingredients include organic cane sugar, organic mint leaves, organic maple syrup and natural oils, depending on the flavor."

Beginning October 1, 2015, VerMints will be encouraging customers to share their awkward kiss stories or photos on social media along with the hashtag #WishIHadVerMints to enter to win a pack of all six VerMints flavors each week. On November 15, 2015, one grand prize winner will be selected to win a year's supply of VerMints.

About VerMints

Over the next six years, VerMints introduced five more flavors: Cinnamon, Wintergreen, Gingermint, Chai, and Cafe Express. In 2012, it became a certified organic company. Inside every VerMints tin is a headstrong commitment to a 100% all-natural, organic product. Their manufacturing facility is non-GMO, certified gluten-free, nut-free, and conforms to kosher standards, and no animal products are included.
