Acquisition Diversifies Portfolio With Addition of IT Infrastructure Audit and Compliance Reporting Solution Provider
AUSTIN, TX--(Marketwire - September 12, 2008) - Versata Enterprises, Inc. (Versata), a leading
provider of enterprise software solutions, announced today the acquisition
of Portsmouth, New Hampshire-based Ecora Software Corp. (Ecora), a leading
provider of automated configuration auditing and compliance reporting
solutions. Ecora's software provides customers a proactive view of IT
infrastructure to measure and validate critical business services comply
with external regulations and internal standards.
Versata, based in Austin, Texas, will operate Ecora as a stand-alone entity
with a distinct customer service and product team. Ecora joins Versata's
portfolio of enterprise software companies, acquired and integrated over
the past two years. Versata's focus on successful customer relationships,
coupled with prudent investment to improve and extend existing products,
ensures an experienced team leads the Ecora integration. Integration
starts with Versata's Customer Success Program, designed to emphasize

Versata expects to integrate Ecora into Versata's Austin headquarters over
the next few months. Additionally, Versata executives will begin a

demonstrate its customer commitment, Versata will publish a new,
multi-release, 18-month product roadmap with specific dates and commitments
within 60 days of the acquisition.
