Versatile Delivers Solution to a Global Pharmaceutical Company

Delivers phase one for new customer

MECHANICSBURG, PENNSYLVANIA--(CCNMatthews - March 20, 2007) - Versatile Systems Inc. (TSX VENTURE:VV) today announces that it has completed the first phase of a solution for a leading global pharmaceutical customer. Revenue for this phase was in excess of $600,000 and this is a new customer that Versatile has secured in the current fiscal year.

Versatile provided the systems design and architecture to support the first phase of a worldwide implementation of an information management and indexing system. This system is a critical component of the customer's strategy for SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) and FDA compliance. The system, based on Sun Microsystems' servers, retains key data throughout the life span of pharmaceutical product development which now must be maintained indefinitely.

Versatile has already generated over $1 million of revenue from additional customers in the pharmaceutical sector during the current fiscal year including the following significant engagements:

- Versatile designed and architected a highly robust solution, based on Sun Microsystems, Oracle and Symantec based technologies, for a leader in specialty pharmacy services, focusing on e-commerce solutions for patients with nontraditional pharmaceutical needs; and

- Versatile extended the mission critical Enterprise Resource Planning system for a leading provider of solutions for sleep disorders and respiratory care. Versatile was responsible for the design and architecture of a redundant system leveraging Sun Microsystems SunFire Servers, Hitachi Mass Storage Devices and cluster technologies.

"Compliance requirements are driving the need for systems that are always available and solutions that ensure that data is retained indefinitely," said Bob Joyce, President of Versatile. "Versatile has a strong legacy of meeting these needs and therefore we are uniquely positioned to capitalize on this growing opportunity in the healthcare sector."
