Vertex Business Services Strengthens Its Leadership Team with Two New Executive Appointments

TORONTO, CANADA--(Marketwire - May 18, 2009) - Vertex Business Services, the leader in Customer Management Services for Utilities in North America, announces the appointment of Dan Sullivan as Managing Director, North America Utilities and a member of the Vertex Management Board, and Stephen Wilkes as Senior Vice President, Client Applications Services.

In these leadership roles, Dan and Stephen will be responsible for accelerating Vertex's ability to provide solutions that enable desired business outcomes for North American Utilities and Energy Retailers.

Dan joins Vertex with over three decades of IT and Business Process Outsourcing experience, centered around the Energy and Utility sectors. Prior to joining Vertex, Dan was a Partner at Accenture, where he led application maintenance sales for Utilities and other industries. He has also held various management and executive positions at IBM, E&Y, and Capgemini.

Stephen joins Vertex from Fujitsu Consulting, where he led transformational initiatives for clients as Vice President and Managing Director of the US SAP Practice. Before moving to Fujitsu, Stephen was Executive Vice President of Delivery at Axon Group plc, where he had delivery oversight of all programs, projects, and managed services assignments for Utility, Transportation, and Aerospace clients; helping Axon to grow a substantial North America presence in just three years.
