Veteran IoT Expert Gian Bonanome Named Senior Director of Business Development for Intelligent Product Solutions

HAUPPAUGE, NY--(Marketwired - Sep 7, 2016) - Intelligent Product Solutions (IPS), a leading product design and development company, today announced that Gianfranco Bonanome was promoted to Senior Director of Business Development. In his new role, he will be responsible for new client cultivation, onboarding and project execution. IPS is a full service product development firm, delivering expert product design and engineering services in Internet of Things (IoT), wearable technology solutions, software applications and more.

Bonanome previously held the position of Director of Systems Solutions for IPS, where he oversaw IoT product design. Under his direction, IPS teams designed and engineered IoT products such as connected beverage dispensers, fitness and social communications wearable bands and interactive vending machines. He has more than 15 years of experience in electrical engineering, embedded software, and system architecture for IoT devices and complete solutions.

Bonanome began his career at IBM's Global Services division overseeing enterprise-level solutions for tier 1 clients and then joined BAE Systems where he focused on fighter jet avionics and anti-fratricide measures as Senior Hardware Engineer and Principal Systems Engineer.

Bonanome holds a master's degree in computer science from Columbia University and a bachelor's degree in computer engineering from NYU Polytechnic. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New York.
