VHA Hires New Vice President of Analytics

IRVING, TX--(Marketwire - June 9, 2008) - VHA Inc., the national healthcare alliance, announced today that it has hired Keith Griffin as vice president of supply chain analytics. He will be responsible for establishing and executing VHA's efforts to give member hospitals easy access to information about purchasing practices to enable improvement of their supply chain performance, especially in key clinical areas like cardiovascular and orthopedics.

Most recently, Griffin was the vice president of supply technologies at Cardinal Health where he significantly improved his unit's productivity and financial performance. Managing a 55-person team, he redesigned service delivery solutions to help hospitals improve their supply chain financial performance through data analysis and delivery.

"Keith brings extensive and practical experience in strategic business planning, customer market analysis and business process design, and we are pleased that he has joined VHA," says Scott J. Downing, executive vice president of supply chain management at VHA. "Keith will work diligently to achieve business growth by exploring and evaluating member needs and creating successful solutions."

Earlier in his career, Griffin was president and CEO of Pharmaceutical Recovery Services, where he restored profitability to the company that provided inventory management and reverse distribution services to the health care industry. His previous experience also includes four years as a business planning consultant and six years in health care sales.

A native of Texas, Griffin earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Baylor University.
