VHA Promotes Armitage to Vice President

IRVING, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- December 19, 2006 -- VHA Inc., the national health care alliance, has promoted Doug Armitage to vice president, Product Management, for VHA's Supply Chain Analytics Division. In his new role, Doug will coordinate analytics product development and lifecycle activities within VHA and at VHA's contracting services company, Novation. Doug helped create and build VHA's global spend analytics tool, which provides hospitals a more comprehensive view of their total expenditures and identifies savings opportunities. Approximately 100 hospitals across the nation are currently using the tool.

"Doug will lead the team that's dedicated to the development and management of products and tools that will help our members make sustainable improvements in their supply chains," said Dan DeLay, senior vice president of Supply Chain Analytics at VHA.
