Vicor's Maurizio Salato Teams With Industry Experts to Assess the Benefits, Infrastructure Ecosystem and Implementation Strategies for Higher Voltage DC Distribution

At the event, Maurizio Salato, Vicor's director of systems engineering, will deliver two technical presentations focused on 380/400 VDC distribution for telecom and datacenter applications, co-written with other leading power experts from across the industry. On Monday, October 14, in Room 3, Mr. Salato will participate in the following presentations as part of the event's High Voltage DC technical program:

"380 VDC Ecosystem Development: Present Status and Future Challenges" - Co-presented with representatives from HP, Universal Electric Corporation, Juniper Networks and Emerson Network Power, this session will provide an overview and progress update focused on the ecosystem development and future direction for 380 VDC distribution in datacenter and telecom facilities. This session is scheduled for 3:20 PM local time.

"Power Adapter Design for Seamless Interface of Low Voltage Equipment to 400 VDC Distribution" - Co-written with representatives from Universal Electric Corporation and Emerson Network Power, this presentation will provide an analysis and architectural design of power electronic adapters for bridging new 400 VDC distribution infrastructure to conventional 12 V and 48 V backplanes. This session is scheduled for 5:20 PM local time.
